SRP Giving Away 2 Free Shade Trees

AS  SHADE  TREES  GROW,  ENERGY  BILLS  CAN  SHRINK


Learn about the benefits of desert - adapted shade trees at a free SRP workshop. As  an SRP  customer,  you  can  claim  2  shade  trees  for  free.   


Workshop  dates:    Thursday ,  January  12  at  noon,  Saturday,  January  28th  at  10:00  am ,  Saturday , February  18th,  10:00am

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS

Scottsdale Police Officer Evan Polasky gave a Crime Prevention Presentation on Jan.10, 2023 at our Ramada. He assured the group that Villa Monterey remains a safe place to live, however as in most communities there have been some vandalism issues. He spoke of ways we can be observant and be safe in our neighborhood. I have attached a detailed summary of his presentation under our "newsletters" tab.  


One important point: if you see something, say something. If something does not look right - a strange person or car please call the police non -emergency number.

A couple tips:


  •  Improve exterior lighting- replace burned out bulbs, add motion sensor lighting.
  • Landscape Maintenance- cut back over grown bushes, maintain yard, plant cactus under windows
  • Security Cameras- doorbell cameras, exterior cameras, register your camera with SPD
  • light timers, lock your doors, lock your car doors and remove valuables from cars. 


Vacation Watch Program- if your out of town for extended period of time let the SPD know. They will drive by and keep an eye on your home.
